Synopsis:

This galactic tale begins here on the shores of the vast blue sea, in Kamogawa, a provincial city of Chiba Prefecture, Japan.

Thousands of years ago, an advanced civilization existed on Earth. Reaching into the far regions of space, mankind was at the height of its glory. Yet, war between nations continued, leading to the development of giant humanoid robots called “Vox” that responded to the pilot’s mind. But the robots proved to be too powerful, leading to the destruction of this advanced civilization. Fearing its infinite power, the Space Federation known as Polyhedron hid away the existence of the Vox and planet Earth from other galactic nations. As time passed, the robots were forgotten, becoming nothing more than a story told in legends. But now, those who are against the Polyhedron Regime have uncovered the existence of the Vox and have set out to seek this ultimate power for their own purposes.

Madoka Kyono is an energetic girl who is full of passion. As the proud, and only, member of the Kamogawa Girls’ High School Jersey Club, she goes around helping people in need. But Madoka’s life is turned upside down when she is suddenly asked by a mysterious girl named Lan to pilot a robot. Motivated by her desire to protect the people and city of Kamogawa, Madoka agrees to pilot the resurrected Vox robot to fight against extraterrestrials that have come to attack Earth.
