Synopsis:

Centuries ago, heroic Samurai Rangers waged a war against an army of darkness. Once conquered, they sealed the powers of evil deep away in a shadowy Underworld. The Rangers knew the seal might someday be broken, so for generations they have been training their children in the ancient powers of the Samurai. When the evil lord Xandred finds a way to escape his dark prision by ship on the River of the Underworld, the modern day Samurai Power Rangers are called into action.
